ABOUT LINTON

Linton Claude Samuels is an American author, music producer, songwriter and musician. He was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica then migrated to Brooklyn, NY at the age of 12 with his mother and two sisters.

Linton learned to play the piano at a very young age and had hopes of attending college to pursue music, but was discouraged to do so because his mother did not believe a music degree was worth much. This led Linton to pursue other career paths even though he knew deep down inside music was his calling. Not long after, Linton’s mother became very ill and passed away from cancer. Linton dropped out of college since he no longer needed to please his mother. He then found work so he could take care of himself. He worked as a housekeeper, security guard, pharmacy technician and mechanical engineer but was never happy with what he did for a living. Something just didn’t feel right. He knew there was more to his life but he had no idea what it was.

Linton is well known for his outgoing personality along with his great listening skills and advice. He lights up every room he walks into. He attracts a crowd. People find comfort in talking with Linton and expressing their personal issues to him which prompted Linton to write his first book, “Successful, Single, But…”. He genuinely wanted to help women with their relationship issues find the love and joy they deserve. Linton truly believes God is using him as a vessel to deliver the message in his book to women.  Since Linton knows music can enter a person mind without their permission, he decided to  produce his first music album entitled, “The Book” to deliver his message through music.

Linton currently resides in the state of Georgia with his wife, Alyssa and their two sons, Linton lll and Dayton. He continues to write and produce his own music because he finally realized music was always his calling. Music is his gift which brings him true happiness.
